She is the mother Her body is the mother She created us — even the male parts of us We are made of her; she is not made of us She fed us She clothed us She taught us to be humans And yet, in large portions of the world, she hides her body, as if it is something to be ashamed of. As if, she is alien — while she is the very thing which makes us human. If anything, we the children are the aliens. We are the mystery — not her, not her body. It just does not make any sense to me that anybody would think that a well-qualified woman can’t be as good as a man. That, she has to get a lower salary than a man.
